The project “WAYS OF LIVING TOGHETHER IN EUROPE” was created with the aim of having
a tool to better access the needs of young people living in our local community and to give
a concrete contribution to satisfy their requests in terms of participation, active citizenship,
feeling of belonging to a common Europe, tolerance and antiracism.
The projects is focus on active citizenship, multiculturality,, tolerance, intercultural education,
permanent education, egality, help combat racism and xenophobia.
We will focus on aspects of social attitudes, modes of perception and the resulting behaviour
because they are determinant elements of any process of intercultural communication and
interaction. We would like to compare, contexts, situations, know how, approaches,
methodologies, tools of each partner involved in the project.
The project wants to stimulate an active European citizenship, to promote mutual understanding,
respect and tolerance, to raise awareness on European values (such as peace, freedom,
security, democracy) and objectives.
The project will promote the intercultural awareness and active participation of European
Citizens, and therefore, break personal, cultural and social frontiers.
The other main objective of this study is to catch the European Dimension by observing
teaching implementations and continuous Education Programs in European Countries.
Will also want to identify important challenges for the future of European citizenship education.
The most effective and only way for teachers to grasp the innovations of the changing and
developing world is permanent education.
Identifying common elements from history to our modern societies can contribute to
strengthen the idea of PEACE and to have a better understanding about “different cultures”
and diversity.
The project will provide a platform of discussion and showcase of best practice methodology
of implementing adult training and exchange of knowledge .
During the project we will prepare our independent research , are looking for local articles
and statements doing research into local archives brochures or volumes.
While the first year will normally be devoted to the cooperative development, realizing,
updating or European adaptation of the training courses and surveys.
The second year should focus first on testing and then on organising the training courses .
In the last year, post-tests about the benefits of trainings will be implemented to trainees
and other relevant in order to estimate the project outcomes.
All courses will give certificate to the participants and this certificate provides personnel to
raise in their career path.
The courses should be offering available under Grundtvig 3 to participants from any country
participating in Lifelong Learning Programme.
